December 21st

In the waiting room

James got tubes last month. He had 7 ear infections in his first year of life, not to mention reflux, colic and feeding issues. It's no wonder the poor kid cried for 14 months. I'm pleased to say that he is a VERY happy 16 month old and getting TUBES were worth every second of worry preceding the surgery. Here are some very sad pictures. It was so hard to let him go in alone. We were shocked at how fast it was over. It was seriously 20 minutes from the time he entered into the OR to the time they came to get us.

Poor baby

Post-op with Dada
This is James being rolled into the OR with the anesthesiologist.
He was seriously amazing and James loved him. Make sure to listen closely to the barking sounds he makes... I Love it!!

TIme Out!

Gabe, making the best of his situation.

Heritage Park at Christmas

We had so much fun. We saw santa, his reindeer, drank hot chocolate, rode the train, and all in good company with our good friends the Rasmussens.

Zoo Lights...DEC

We had a lot of fun seeing the zoo-lights. We thought it was free with our zoo-pass, but much to our surprise it was not. But, it was totally worth it. Even though it was freezing, we had a relaxing evening walking around the zoo, enjoying the light and music. The boys LOVED it.
I Just LOVE this boy!
