SHOES, SHOES AND MORE SHOES!

Gabe is obsessed with shoes. We always catch him in our shoes and in our closet rearranging them and trying them all on. In the bottom picture I was getting ready and noticed it was a little quite, so I went in to check on Gabe. I found him with three shoes in his arms and a pile of shoes on his couch. He was so proud of himself and his pile of shoes. I love this kid. As you can tell he is a little character. We love our Gabbers so much. He is such a fun and pleasant child. We are so lucky to have him in our family.

Living on the edge

Gabe has found a new favorite place to watch cartoons. I'm a little afraid for what the future brings because this kid has no fear and gets a kick out of seeing me with fear in my eyes.

Thomas the Train in Heber

Saturday we were invited to go on the Herber Valley Thomas the train ride for Kristi's(my best friend) little boys birthday. We had a lot of fun. We went for a 20 min train ride with Thomas as the front engine. Sir Topham Hat passed through the train visiting with the kids. It was so fun. After the ride there were a lot of activities for the kids. It was a very fun day for Gabe. He carried his Thomas with him the whole time. it was cute to see the expression on his face when he saw thomas in real life. It must have been very exciting for him. Here are some pics. My camera battery died so this is all I got, but I will post more when Kristi can email me a few others. Take a look!

My Hat, Bat, Ball and Sunglasses!

I think the pictures say it all. Gabe is all boy. He loves his baseball bat and ball and asks to play with it daily. He also loves hats because of course he associates them with being like his dad and he absolutely loves his dad.

Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo!

Last Thursday my best friend and I took our boys to the petting zoo. Gabe loved it. We got to see all the animals, feed the goats, ride the ponies, and go for a hay ride. It was so fun. I think Gabe's favorite animal was the donkey. He stood in front of it's cage and said, "He-haw, He-haw" for like 5 min. It was so cute. He wasn't so sure about the pony ride and it took him a couple of minutes to be somewhat comfortable on it. After our day at the petting zoo we went to Orem to visit my grandma Clinger. We always have a fun time visiting with her and she always gets a kick out of Gabe. It was a very fun day. Thanks Kristi!

Gabe's 18 month pictures!

As many of my close friends and family know, I have had a love for photography since about 8th grade. That is when I took over my mom and Dad's manual Cannon camera. I started doing photos of my sisters and then of close friends, engagement, wedding and family photos. Since serving my mission I didn't really get back into it until I had Gabe. Since then I have done all his pictures and my sister wedding last year. I figure I usually like them more when I can dictate what is done and how it is done. So, here are his darling 18 months pictures. The flowers have been so beautiful that I had to take them outdoors. I'm used to using a film camera, so it has taken some practice to get used to the whole digital idea, but I think I am slowly begining to like it more. But, I will always have a love for film. As you can tell from these he is a little bugger lately to photograph. He will not look at the camera. I managed to get a few priceless pics though.

Here are some that we took at temple square on Cinco De Mayo, Our anniversary. Temple square is beutiful right now.
