Hats, Balls, Lounging on his mini couch and hanging out with Dada...These are a few of Gabe's favorite things!
Gabe loves his dad so much and will imitate anything he does or wears. This is just a glimpse of some of the cute things we find him doing and thinking up on his own. I love the kid and the big personality that accompanied him into this world.
FINALLY!!! I bet you've probably read that a bunch! I'm so excited you finally updated your blog...I almost gave up on you...j/k! I love that I can catch up with you via blog!!! Gabers is such the doll!!! We seriously need to do some catching up! Love ya!
Jessica! Oh my gosh it was great to hear from you. You look just as gorgeous as ever! It was funny that you commented on my blog because just the other day we were going through things at my dad's house and found my old yearbooks and saw your picture and thought "hmm, wonder what Jessica is up to". So funny! Keep in touch. Is it okay if I add you as a link on my blog? TTYL.
Five years and two kids later, we are finally not students, YAY! Garrett graduated from medical school in May and is now in his first year of residency at IMC in Murray, Utah and will finish up his residency in dermatology at the Mayo Clinic beginning next July. I'm busy raising our two boys and working full-time as the Assistant Nurse Manager RN at the U Of U in the Physical Medicine and Rehab Clinic. I also teach spinning two evenings a week. We are a very busy family, but we are dedicated to each other and our goal of being able to busy a house next year and we won't back down until we get it. It gets a little crazy at times, but life is good. Our Gabe will be 4 in October and James is 2.
Last summer we had the chance to go to Italy to meet my Italian family. We also were able to visits sights we have always dreamed of visiting. My family was so hospitable and generous. They picked us up from the airport, took us on a few day trips in and around rome, and had us over for dinner. It was like we had known them all our lives. The sights we saw were amazing and will be forever cherished.
Just the two of us in Italy
Ponte Vechio-Venice
St. Peter's by moon light.
Kissing in front of the colosseum
A few of my favorite quotes

"We should regret our mistakes and learn from them, but never carry them forward into the future with us."
