An acrobatic air show

Paris Island Marine Corps base is very close to my dads house, so every year at water-fest we get a visit from the Blue Angels. Gabe loved the roaring of the jets.

Yes, these are dolphins. We managed to see a group of about 30 dolphins on our water cruising adventure. My dad spotted them. We cut our engine and just watched them gracefully come in and out of the water just feet from our boat. I never get tired of watching them.

On our last day my dad took us out on his boat to enjoy the festivities on the sand bar. Gabe loves the boat. He also thinks he is big enough to drive it. Here is what Gabe did the majority of the time we were anchored on the sands. Yes, pretend to drive the boat like PAPA JIM.

Thanks Papa Jim and Susanna for such a fun trip. We love you!

Our first few days in South Carolina!

This is a small part of the photos I've taken while in South Carolina. We had tons of fun with all the family here. Garrett left for Romania on Monday. We sure do miss him, but we know we will see him soon. Gabers and I are still having a lot of fun here with my Dad and Susanna. Enjoy the pictures. More to come.

My Messy BOY!

The last few months have been filled with independence for Gabe. He loves doing things himself. He is such a little man these days. Part of this independence is feeding himself. For me it has been hard because I hate messes (or I hate cleaning them up), but I have had to forget about the mess and let the man do his thing. It's been a few months since he will even attempt to let us help him, thus my meal time anxiety is thankfully down to a minimum. Here is a glimpse of some of the messes he has been making over the last few months.

Gabe on a good day.

Gabe Saying "mama Dirty" ,as he points out the obvious mess he has made of his favorite breakfast food, Oatmeal... He hates being messy too.

Post Boards Fun!

Since Garrett took his boards we have been able to hang-out a lot as a family. It has been so fun having him around. This fun has included swimming at the JCC, going to my 10 year reunion, staying in park city for a couple nights and camping. We forgot our camera for our camping trip, but we have pictures of everything else. We are headed off to South Carolina in the morning for a few days and then from there Garrett leaves to Romania for a surgical rotation for 17 days. We are keeping busy and awaiting the arrival of baby James in just 10 weeks. Hopefully time fly. If you can't tell I'm anxious for this pregnancy to be over.

My ten year high school reunion-
This is a picture of some of our varsity cheer squad! GO MVHS!! just kidding! I sure missed all those who couldn't attend and many people I didn't get to talk to. (Heidi, Alesa, Suzy, etc.) I hope that is isn't another 10 years before we see each other again. It was so fun to reminisce and to hear about everyone's lives since high school.
