We celebrated Gabe's birthday several times last week because I lOVE birthdays. Garrett and I got to go to his preschool, where I brought whole wheat sucanut brownies. We exchanged books as a birthday tradition in his class. We choose one of his favorite
Thomas the Train books to give. In return he was given book called
Five Green and Speckled Frogs. It was so much fun. Best of all Gabe felt soooo special. We celebrated Gabe and James birthday last weekend at our home. It was a blast! Gabe loved dressing up and having all his friends and some of his family there (we missed you Eliza, Lucas, Oliver, Papa Jim and Susana..and all other family far away ). His favorite activity was the pinata, because he actually got to hit something without getting in trouble. It was very cold, but oh so fun. Thanks to all you who hung in there. James was kind of a bum. He cried most of the time because I couldn't hold him. Still hoping he will completely grow out of his whinning nature, but I don't expect it. Maybe next year will be a better one for him.
