Garrett in Romania

Garrett and one of his buddies all ready to work or watch.

In the OR. Can you say HIPPA violation? I guess there is no such thing in Romania, since the Docs told garrett to take these photos. Welcome to socialized medicine.

The lecture hall. Can you find Garrett?

This is Raul. I fell in love with Raul while Garrett and I were in Romania on our honeymoon. He was only about Gabes age then. George has told us that he still ask his dad where I am. I can't wait to see him. He is such a little pimp!

The Geaudo family- George, Garrett, Little George, Rica, Jounutes, and Raul.

I know Garrett has been home for 3 weeks now, but I thought that I would post a few of the pictures that he took while away. He had a great experience with the Romanian doctors, medical students, and other medical student from various parts of the world (Italy, Malta, and Canada to name a few). Not only was he able to participate in this surgical rotation, but he was also able to visit the Geaudo family, a family we love dearly. He met George Geaudo on his mission. He was able to be there throughout his conversion and baptism. Since then, Garrett and I have been able to see both he and his wife receive the blessings of the temple (endowment and sealing) here in Utah. We have been so blessed to have them in our lives. They are a great strength to us and our growing family. George is one of the most loving and sincere people I know. George, Rica (his wife) and their youngest son Raul recently arrived in California again to work for six months. After the six months they will return to Romania for six months and then come back here again to work. While they are here, we will be blessed to see sweet Raul sealed to them for time and all eternity. I am so grateful that Garrett and I both had the opportunity to serve missions. The people we met and assisted in conversion have been such blessings in our lives and will continue to be throughout the eternities. We love you George and Rica. Thanks for your wonderful examples.
